Portia by Abella is the most romantic A-line gown and made me feel effortlessly elegant on my wedding day. The sweetheart neckline is flattering and timeless, while the strapless bodice gives a classic bridal look that photographs beautifully.

One of my favorite features is the detachable sleeves, which let me switch up the style between ceremony and reception. The mid back means it feels comfortable and secure, and the floor-length skirt moves so gracefully.

The leg slit was such a key part of the dress for me and meant I never got too hot and added some extra drama and glamour.

Within the bodice there is a corset to make sure it fits you snuggly and pulls you in tight. It also has pockets, which were such a lovely and practical bonus (hidden tissues etc!). There is a bustle added so you can shorten the skirt as well for easier movement in the evening.

It is a size 10 and would be perfect for a bride looking for a dress that feels both feminine and comfortable, with a little modern versatility. I'm 5ft 8 and wore 3 inch heels so the skirt didn't get shortened which means this is ideal for tall girls or can be easily shortened.

I hope it brings another bride as much joy and confidence as it brought me.
