The Madeleine gown by SAINT Bridal is an incredibly romantic and unique dress — 18th-century romance meets modern elegance. Its empire waist and beautifully pleated chiffon create a soft, feminine silhouette that feels wonderfully light and bouncy in motion.

The empire waist is exceptionally flattering and forgiving through the midsection, with an additional layer beneath the chiffon that helps smooth and conceal any bumps. The chiffon has just enough weight and cling to follow the body beautifully while retaining its ethereal movement.

Madeleine is also remarkably versatile — romantic and old-world, but equally beautiful styled in a modern, minimalist or dramatic way.

I wore the gown for my wedding ceremony only. It has since been professionally dry-cleaned and is in beautiful, pristine condition. The train can also be pinned up, which is wonderful for dancing or moving around before or after the ceremony.

Please note that this listing is for the Madeleine gown only and does not include the detachable sleeves shown in some photographs. The matching sleeves can be purchased separately from SAINT Bridal.

The gown is ideally suited to approximately a C cup. The straps were shortened slightly and can easily be returned to their original length. Ample skirt length remains: I am 172 cm tall and wore approximately 13 cm heels.

Madeleine is one of those rare dresses that transports you to another place when you put it on. The floating pleats and unusual silhouette give it an almost otherworldly quality — it will make you feel unlike you ever had before, or ever will again!
