About the Dress

A true showstopper!! Only worn once for the ceremony, originally purchased in December 2023 as a sample dress. I bought a bridal cape to wear with it that is *not* part of this listing. It has been professionally dry cleaned and doesn’t have any stains. I got married in September 2024 and changed for the dancing portion of the evening.

You’ll see this in the photos, but it’s beaded in such a fun way! Shiny and glam without being too over the top. I bought it as a sample dress from Blue Sky Bridal in sf and felt absolutely fabulous wearing it on my big day. It was also so comfortable I didn’t want to take it off!

Alterations: I’m 5’7” and had it hemmed for me in 2” heels. I added a “French bustle” and let the waist out, so it can’t go out any further (I’m around a size 6 usually). Size: Bridal size 10, street size 6 or so (I'm 5'7" and about 154lbs, if that's helpful.) I liked the shoulder pads for the added drama but they’re easy to remove if that isn’t for you. It’s a deep V and has built in illusion fabric preventing any wardrobe slips. If your skin tone is different from mine, you can have your tailor change that out pretty easily!

Designer: Eva Lendel. It’s now discontinued, but if you look on their website you can get a sense of how you can dress it up - like adding a skirt feature, etc.
