Alterations

  • I filled in the cutout it had just below the breast with fabric hemmed from the skirt
  • I hemmed it, im 5'6" and wore hiking boots with a 1.5" heel and it just brushed the ground
  • I hemmed the inner lining so that there wasnt a train on it and just went to the floor
  • I added a wrist loop to make it easier to carry the train

About the Dress

Rue de Seine Knoxville wedding gown but I had it altered so that the liner only goes to the ground, which made it easier to carry the train with the wrist loop. I also had them use the excess fabric from hemming to fill in the cutout it has on the stomach making it a bit more timeless. This is a size 4 and I am a 32d or 34c, 29" waist and 38" hips, I wore hiking boots under it so would work for someone 5'8" or shorter with heels. Just got it professionally cleaned and no stains. I absolutely loved wearing this dress, it was so lightweight and comfortable and I felt so beautiful in it. It does not come with arm cuffs.
