The gown is classic and elegant with it's intricately detailed original Spell lace, but playful and modern with the halter neck and plunging, lace-up back

Each panel of lace has been lovingly pieced together to form this gown, intricately finished with delicate lace floral motifs, hand cut and appliqued onto the waist. The gown features a flattering open, lace up back that is easily adjusted to fit your form. Possibly the most striking feature of the dress though, is the vintage, cream embroidered mesh deep-frill, fish-tail hem that finishes off the gown.

This dress is a "Small" and is often sold out on Spell's website. It was very comfortable to wear and fitted our day perfectly. The dress cost $300 nzd to import in to New Zealand on top of the $1,000 purchase price. Has been cleaned and is in near new condition.

The dress has been professionally altered. We found the dress to be too long in the front when wearing barefoot. Therefore approx 7cm was taken from the bodice (as not to disturb the train), the applique was then returned on top. You can't even tell any thing has been done as the ladies at Sacs Tailoring (in Christchurch) did such a wonderful job!
