Rue De Seine, Poppy

This dress is stunning, I truly loved wearing it, it ticked all my boxes. If you want to be covered, but not too conservative then it’s perfect. It has an open back, and slits in the leg. I was so desperate for it and new it was the one, i had a skype call with RDS in NZ, and ordered it the day before they stopped making it, in September 2016, it arrived in January and i wore it on 11th March 2017. The dress is light and not too much fabric, easy to get in and out of, and i never felt hot or bothered in it, which was one of my worries!

I also have the veil which my mother and I matched with the fabric colour. I felt that a single length chapel veil was best, due to the nature of the back of the dress, and everyone said it was so lovely to see the back of the dress. I can sell the veil with the dress for £60

I wore a normal strapless bra with extenders, which was fine, but you can get cups put if required.

There is the small hook missing from the back, but easily replaced. Not sure where it went!

I am a UK 12/14, but as couture garments are usually never true high street sizes, it has been altered to a 16 (although i did feel i could have had some taken in if i wanted a more snug fit in places) based on my measurements. So, I didn't have it taken in, only adjusted in length, so if you are 12/14, then you have fabric to play with. I am 151 cm, and had about 10cm cut off and wore 3.5inch high shoes.

The cups were taken in slightly, but no fabric was cut. So can be let out, or removed to take in further.

With my bra, I wore thin straps to start with, and I had some small loops put in to hold the top shoulders in place if needed as I have VERY round shoulders! along with a very thin length of ribbon, either can be removed, but certainly won’t be a problem if you choose to keep them.
