The Dress

I am selling my Selena Overlay. It was purchased new from Karen Willis Holmes and worn only for my ceremony. I wore it over the Tamara Gown, I loved the sleek fit of the gown but wanted something to make it more "bridal"; this overlay allowed me to have the best of both worlds! I felt as though I had two dresses and the change between ceremony and reception definitely had the wow factor without being too over the top.
The skirt features seven organza panes attached to the waist band. The colour is listed as "Pearl" on the receipt; it has a slight pinkish hue when the light catches it (although this is not noticeable in photos). The skirt was made to measure but I am usually an 8 at my waist; the skirt being too big on me if worn without the dress beneath (fitting perfectly when over the dress) so it is likely closer to a size 10. The skirt is attached with a small hook on the waist band which can be adjusted slightly to make bigger or smaller.
The skirt has been dry cleaned and is in perfect condition. I honestly wish it was appropriate for me to wear this skirt again because I absolutely love it! Sadly, my husband assures me that it is not, so it's time for it to go to a good home and add that romantic flair to someone else's day!
