About the Dress

I bought this dress as the sample off the rack. I was so happy but then the season of my wedding changed (fall to winter) and the dress was no longer right for the season or the venue. It has never been worn, although it was a floor sample so it has been tried on several times and just needs to be dry cleaned to get the shop dirt off the train. I've attached a picture above. This dress is so fun! It comes with the lower illusion back and the most perfect chapel train and bustle. I am sad to sell it but it just doesn't work for my wedding anymore. It retails brand new just over $4,200 (higher because of the lower cut back) but I'm offering it for just under $2,000 since it will need to be cleaned and most likely altered. Hope this dress makes it to its intended bride soon!

The dress that started it all, Kristene was the first wedding gown designed by Claire. This Victorian embroidered creation is so flattering and unique, it's no wonder it has stood the test of time. The sweetheart neckline, capped sleeves, rich Guipure dangles which shimmy and dance along your body as embellishments glide down from the sheer illusion back into the heart shaped train are the details that will make you swoon. May be ordered with the original illusion back, or plunging, low illusion back. Kristene is available as shown in Ivory with Pearl silk lining, and other silk lining options from our Couture Collection.
