The dress was custom made by Diana's Couture and Bridal in Georgetown , DC, in 2000. The design was taken from a window display of a Paris dress shop many years before the wedding was even an idea. Once engaged, the picture was found and taken to the dressmaker in Washington. She did a beautiful job. The inner lining is silk, cut on the bias, and there are layers of silk organza, trimmed in the same satin that is underneath. There is a thin, criss-crossed satin sash at the natural waistline. There is no label, so therefore no size, but I was a zero when I wore it, with a bust size of 32C.
