About the Dress

Stunning beaded full length gown, named 'Isabel' by Australian designer Rachel Gilbert.

It has been worn once, for my wedding on 29 July 2017.

Fully lined with a nude slip. Has been hemmed at the front. I am 167 cm tall and my shoes were approx 10-12cm high.

I am usually a size 10 and this gown fit me like a glove! It is truly an amazing piece - it is size 2, and the ladies at Rachel Gilbert were telling me that it is meant to be fitted and is very much true to size. The arms and waist are the tightest parts.

I'm happy for you to travel and try on the dress at my home on the Gold Coast

I had the dress altered to take some of the length off the front and have a second "hook and eye" added at the top of the zip at the back. I also hand-stitched a lace wrist-hook onto the underneath of the gown to hold the gown throughout the day.

Please note that this dress is fully beaded and therefore is quite heavy and may drop beads. I have a small zip-lock bag of spare beads that I have collected for you from my wedding day - there are a few areas that you may wish to mend before wearing it yourself (hence the discounted price). Should you wish to purchase the dress and would recommend if you make any alterations that you keep any cuttings for the beads.
