About the Dress

Note: I am selling the dress with the matching ballgown slip (white, size small). If the slip is not needed, I am willing to reduce the price.

I am also selling my accessories and would be willing to work out a deal if you would like any of them with the dress. I have a mid-length veil, a rose clutch, a crystal and pearl hair comb, a crystal broach, and a faux-fur bolero (ivory).

A note about the dress colour: the colour is called Vintage Rose. The first layer under the lace and beading is blush, and the layers underneath are ivory. In certain lighting the blush colour really stands out. In others, the dress looks ivory. In my professional photos, you can't really see the blush.

The David's Bridal website lists the following description: This romantic ball gown features beaded lace appliques that begin on the strapless bodice and cascade onto the floaty tulle skirt. A beaded border at the hemline finishes the dress with soft sparkle. Polyester; Chapel train; Back zipper; Fully lined; Dry clean

The only flaw is that the hook that does up the back is broken (the loop came off). The zipper is in perfect condition, but a new hook will have to be sewn on.

I had to have alternations done. Straps have been added: ruched, ivory, tulle, beaded border along the edges that roughly matches the sequins on the dress.
The bottom has been hemmed (I am 5'5'', wore shoes that have a 4.5" heel with 1" wedge), the shoulders were taken up, the neckline was taken in, a bustle was added (over bustle, first three), and bra cups were sewn in.
