About the Dress

I had the best day in my beautiful Karen Willis Holmes Selena gown and I'm hoping that someone else can get just as much enjoyment out of this amazing dress!

The dress is an Australian size 10 customised with a button back (as opposed to the lace-up back), it was altered to my height - I am roughly 168cm tall and wore flats so no height was added for heels. I purchased the dress with all trains attached and permanently sewn in.

The dress is made of many materials; the bodice is made of a stunning French lace whilst the skirt is largely composed of organza and tulle but has a silk underlay too.
Despite the size of the dress it is very easy to move in and very light. One fear I had with a strapless dress was that I would be pulling it up throughout the day but the bodice was so well fitted I didn't have to worry at all!

I bustled the back of the gown for my reception which changes the look of the back as displayed in photos, it looks beautiful with the trains out or bustled. Once bustled it was super fun and easy to dance in!
