About the Dress

The Maggies Sottero (Ms Malina) gown was purchased at Raffael Ciuca on Sydney Road in Brunswick. The dress was worn on 23 December 2017. It was immediately dry cleaned at Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners on Union Road in Ascot Vale and picked up on 17 March 2018. There are no stains, rips or damages - it is as good of condition as the day I bought it! I am generally a size 8, although the gown is a size 6. Therefore, I consider the sizing a 6-8 - the dimensions are as follows: B 33" W 27" H37 (FYI - my height is 180cm). The gown details are absolutely beautiful! It consists of lace and pearls. A corset is underneath the dress which is to be tied up; it is then closed with a zip and elegant buttons over the top. The additional items / alterations include: 1. Additional organza to lengthen the train; 2. Raw-cut edge veil to meet the end of my train; 3. Finger-tip beaded veil; 4. A small hoop to make the bottom of the dress fuller; and, 5. Sew-in bra cups. I wore both veils on my wedding day (mostly for the photos). When I arrived at the Reception, I took off the long veil and left the shorter, finger-tip, veil on.
