About the Dress

This is the perfect dress! It’s by French designer Margaux Tardits (2017 collection) and is called Voulez Vous Danser Avec Moi (I bought it from Mews Bridal in Notting hill in October 2017).
It has a delicate, sheer white lace top, with a lower-cut lining in nude at the front. It has a stunning key-hole/low back down to the waist. There are pretty lace details accentuating the waist and then it falls in a double layer of white floaty silk and chiffon to the ground with a small train. It's totally romantic and gorgeous! It’s also very comfortable to wear - perfect for being able to breathe, eat and dance the night away!

I have had the front of the skirt hemmed to my height - 5'8, plus 3 inch heels. This can be adjusted. There's two tiny hooks in the back of the skirt to create a bussle (as per the pic of us dancing), plus I had a wrist loop sewn onto the back of the train to help me not to fall over it! All could be removed if needed. There's a tiny adjustment at the shoulders to the lace, which could be let out again - other than that off the peg at a size 8 UK (though personally I am a size UK10 in the shops - definitely on the bottom half anyway!) and it fitted me perfectly.

Just worn for one day (January of this year), I've since had it professionally dry cleaned.
