Pallas Couture, Amabelle

Pallas Couture’s Amabelle gown is from the 2014 collection, Fleur Blanche.

The Amabelle gown exudes feminine romance and classic elegance with its soft flowing layers of ivory coloured fabric. The under layer which is in contact with your skin, consists of beautifully weighted ivory silk crepe so as to drape over the shape of your body giving you a lovely silhouette. There are then 2 layers of fine tulle completed with the finest of hand appliquéd French silk lace covering the bodice and gently cascading over the hips. Details include boning in the bodice, easy to use buttons in the back and a gorgeous silk satin bow belt to complete the look. The train in the back bustles up for dancing. The detail in the French lace forms a scalloped neckline and low back. The hem of the dress flowed beautifully which gave it an ethereal and graceful look.

I felt so gorgeous in this dress and it was extremely comfortable to wear.

Also included with the dress is a long 2.6m delicate plain tulle veil, which looked stunning with the dress. On the day of my wedding it was extremely windy which is why there aren’t any photos with me wearing it (I just managed to wear it down the aisle and then had to take it off due to the wind). The veil cost $700 new. This was also dry cleaned.

The shoes I wore with the dress were 11cm high (measured from the tallest point).
