Feminine and diaphanous, the saffron gown combines the most luxurious of fabrics.The bodice- which is reminiscent of a classic 1950's silhouette- and quarter length sleeves are created with soft tulle, the gently gathered skirt , which flows into a small train, is sumptuous silk chiffon and the slimmer skirt interlayer which is visible through the front skirt opening is a silk crepe de chine. The bateau neckline of the saffron follows the curve of the collar bone and smoothly dips to an elegant scooped back framing the tips of the shoulder blades but also allowing a strapless bra to be worn. Hand embellished flowers have been appliquéd onto the bodice and sleeves , whilst seed pearls and delicate glass beads further enhance the beautiful artwork and contour the female form. This dress is flattering on many body shapes , with the simple clean lines creating the illusion of height on a petite frame, whilst the fitted waist can also create curves on a narrower frame.
