About the Dress

Breathtaking couture wedding dress in 100% silk organza and hand-made chantilly lace, custom designed by Christian Dior's head designer Peter Langner, in the style of Grace Kelly. Bought from Browns Bridal and in perfect pristine condition (RRP. £8,500 including custom made bodice with full length hand-stitched lace sleeves and pearl buttons). Full length veil in matching lace available.

Size 8-12. I would estimate this at a 10 or a slim fitting size 12 but I have details of the Browns Bridal seamstress who can adjust the dress to make it a perfect fit, for anyone from size 8, 10, or 12.

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned by a couture wedding dress specialist at a cost of £350.

I am sad to part with it but have a newborn baby, a lovely start to married life! It was a lot to spend on a dress and the veil was expensive as it is couture hand-trimmed in lace, but you only get married once and it was worth every penny! It has a classic and romantic film-star quality to it reminiscent of Grace Kelly on her wedding day, if you love that look you can view her wedding photos online for inspiration. I also loved the detailing on the back and the long sleeves which are very on trend right now, following the royal weddings.

Stored at the Drycleaner's, smoke and pet free home.
