Sophia Tolli

This stunning gown is designed by Sophia Tolli and is truly beautiful. I felt just amazing on the day and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful dress (especially from someone who swore off getting a strapless dress, and ended up with one and loved it more than anything!)

I’m 165cm tall (and wore 8cm heels so 173cm) and 58kg, I had the gown altered to fit – so would fit a size 8-10, and personally I’m usually a slightly larger size 8 (especially in the hips) but due to the corset back of this dress it was an amazing lead-up to the wedding as I didn’t have to worry about whether the dress would fit as I could just either tie it tighter or looser and it would fit perfectly! It also meant that the amount of cleavage could be adjusted by how tight you pulled the corset. I wore a strapless Wonderbra underneath and was super happy with the result.

The dress includes champagne coloured satin underneath truly beautiful ivory lace (so much so that I’ve considered not selling the dress as the lace itself is just beautiful), the lace also features small 3 dimensional flower details scattered throughout the skirt, finishing in a scalloped lace hemline. The train is just spectacular, especially when fanned out, and I got so many compliments on how gorgeous the dress was :)

The bodice presents beading in both pearls and crystals, giving a delicate shimmer when you walk and truly demonstrates the high quality of the dress. The gown came with a small lace bolero jacket, that has not been worn.
