I like how we know how much the dress sells for. But it shows street size on the listing rather than label size, which may confuse people if they are not paying attention closely. I rather it show label size, then the street size on listing and ask people for measurements.

I needed more help to understand how to send parcels abroad and how customs taxes work. I was a bit stressed about getting that right and I did feel more detailed information could be made available from Stillwhite. Initially I invoiced just for shipping, only to discover when I went to formally buy the postage that the carrier wanted customs taxes upfront too; so I had to cancel the order, refund the buyer, resubmit the invoice and wait again for payment. That was stressful. Stillwhite needs to explain a bit more about that process . The invoice that is generated just says add shipping. It needs to say add shipping and any customs taxes that will be due too.

It took a couple of years to sell my dress, but it eventually sold. You have to keep in mind that the dress I posted was in one size, one style, etc. It was meant for the perfect buyer and she eventually arrived.

It would be nice if all the costs were transparent from the beginning considering the buyers location. The buyer and I didn’t realize the buyer has to pay the shipping when they made the offer. Since it’s an international shipping, we were also surprised by the custom cost (although on the buyer) and the document requirements. I as a new seller was unaware of PayPal sellers fee (which is not pleasant) and the hold policy from PayPal.
