The platform is I would assume flooded with dresses, and someone's listing very soon doesn't get much viewing. Also the process of actually selling the dress is very vague. Information could be given more upfront. There is just a link to websites to calculate shipping yourself. Its a very diy selling process. Also, there was a bug in the UI so I didn't get the zip code or city to calculate shipping costs, I had to ask the buyer which felt unsfe.

It was good and straight forward. I do feel like it should be mandatory for measurements to be put in because it's necessary information when buying a dress. It's a bit tedious to have to look up the individual designers size chart and they all fluctuate anyway.

The only positive about this platform if you are a seller is that you know the buyer pool are motivated to find their dream dress. So you have a niche market which you don't get on eBay or FB marketplace. HOWEVER BE WARNED. Everything is a cash grab. From having to promote your listing (more than once), to the absolutely HORRIBLE experience of using PayPal. Who will hold your funds for up to 21 days even when everything goes perfectly. And then throw in some surprise additional fees and charges on top of what they have already taken to transfer YOUR money back to you. Also if you are asking the buyer to cover postage - make sure you know where they live before finalising the transaction. It is not obvious if they are from another country and if they are in the US, chances are that there will be additional US customs charges that you won't be aware of until you go to ship the dress. This can be hundreds of dollars the you have to pay.

I felt very safe using this site. At first I was hesitant to purchase a dress that is so expensive, but I like how Still white has safeguards in place to prevent any fraud. I really like how the tracking number is uploaded in the messages and you can track it from there, it makes things alot easier where I did not have to ask for it. I found the site easy to use and easy to communicate with sellers. Ultimately, I found a very good price on a brand new dress - about $800 less than retail and with less wait time. The woman I bought it from is a super lovely lady and I felt confident about the purchase. I wish there were more veils and accessories listed! My only hiccup was the fault of UPS - they didn’t come up to my apartment for a signature and someone signed for it in the lobby and then left it there 🤦🏻‍♀️ completely defeating the purpose of an expensive signature-required delivery. The good news is I was able to sell my dress. It took about 6 months. The downside is both the Stillwhite site and PayPal take a premium off of your bottom line. Shipping, even after calling the shipping company and using the online calculations, was also more than I quoted the buyer.
