Of all the bridal resale platforms, I thought StillWhite was the easiest to search and best laid out. I also appreciated the direct messages to sellers and how easy the buying process was. The only mishap was during shipping itself and nothing to do with StillWhite or the seller. Thankful it got to me after being on a little adventure!

As a seller. I would not recommend. PayPal is the only payout method and because I’m a first time seller, they are holding my funds for 150 days. PayPal required me to send tracking info and receipt of delivery (which I did ) and still decided to hold my money. Now I am unsure if I will even get the money and the dress is with the buyer. This has been a terrible experience.

The platform is good but the fees are high considering and it took me over a year to sell my dress. Also once the buyer purchases the dress it gets confusing. Other sites exactly calculate shipping, recommend packaging and have better policing of fishing and scammers. I got a LOT of scamming inquires before I got a real offer and when I did get it I was so paranoid I almost didn’t go through with the sale.

I do not know anyone else who has used this platform, nor anyone who has used a different platform to purchase a resale dress. I was hopeful, but a little skeptical. Now that I've received the dress I purchases thru stillwhite.com, I am thrilled! I was able to obtain the very dress I fell in love with at the bridal boutique, new, tags on, unaltered, perfect condition, for 1/3rd the bridal store price. You can be sure I'll encourage others to consider this option when purchasing a dress!

1) trying to figure out how to calculate shipping costs was so confusing. You should have clear step by step instructions on how best to calculate this. 2) the amount it calculated for shipping was only $22. When I took the package in to ship, it was $60 with insurance and everything. I had to eat that cost. 3) PayPal is the only payment option. I had to create a paypal account and PayPal automatically marked it as a business account since I was selling something. It took two 30 minute phone calls with their customer support to try and change it to a personal account. 4) PayPal took a percentage of my funds since it was marked as a “goods and services” transaction. I wasn’t aware this was going to happen. I would have charged more for the dress if I knew this. 5) you need to improve the instructions and have Pop-ups along the way to help guide the user through this journey. This was so frustrating to use.

I went through absolute hell selling my dress to the US. When I was given the option, stillwhite had a note that said "selling international is no different is sending a dress across the state" this is completely false. Sure packing the dress is the same, but I had to deal with customs forms, taxs and tariff codes. The dress was blocked through customs once and ended up back at my door step. The cost, omg the cost. I was qoutes $500 - $700 to go through till, DHL or FedEx. None of that is mentioned when people place the quote. It created huge frustration and stress. Stillwhite customer service was no help, the only thing they offered was to list it again if it fell through. How is that helpful??

Platform was ok but it took a LONG time to sell my dress even with dropping the price. I sold it for a very low price $150 & shipping & then the post office lost the dress which was insured and I have yet to collect the insurance. Usps is giving me a hard time in spite of lots of documentation. Still White was of NO help when I reached out to them with this issue which was disappointing. So now I am out of the dress and the insurance.And the money that I sold the dress for as I gave a refund to the buyer. I think Still White should have some kind of insurance for instances where this happens. Therefore I can't recommend the site. :-(
