buyerI received relevant notifications and suggestions and messages in a timely manner. The website is easy to use but it continually kept jumping from Australian currency to Euros as the primary currency which was annoying andI didn’t know how to get it back. My dress is amazing and I was invited to try on the dress by the seller which I did. Not sure if I would’ve otherwise been as confident to spend so much money on a dress I had no idea would fit, esp because wedding dress sizing is often dissimilar to normal sizing. I am a standard size 8 but the dress I bought was a size 10. I was surprised but glad I had the opportunity to try before I buy. buyerI stumbled across this website and quickly found a dress I really liked. I messaged the seller, and within hours we had set up a meeting for me to try the dress. The seller I met was absolutely lovely - she was really helpful and it was a really nice experience meeting her. sellerTook ages to sell my wedding dress (+4 months) and I ended up having to discount it significantly. Also having to pay through PayPal they take a significant fee so one to be wary of. Would also be good if an app was developed to make messaging and responding more timely.More

buyerThis experience was AMAZING! I loved how easy it was to use your website. Everything was set up so logically. Even the mobile site was easy to use. It’s very evident that there was a conscious decision to invest in a quality web designer so provide the best experience for their customers. I found my DREAM dress (all the way in New Zealand) and it fits me perfectly! Still in shock how well everything turned out. My only note: when I tried to make the PayPal payment, the payment would not go through, even after multiple attempts. I spoke with a PayPal customer service rep on the phone and found out that my payment was flagged as “risky”, considering I don’t usually send over $1000 internationally. They informed me that nothing could be done and no one at PayPal could override the flag. We ended up using TransferWise to make the payment, which turned out just fine. Obviously, this is a problem on PayPal’s end, no fault of Still White’s. Just thought I’d mention this as it might be happening to other customers.MoreEliza, Austin

sellerOverall good experience, but the first time the buyer came to pick up the dress we tried to have her pay through PayPal but then it required me to link PayPal to my bank account in order to accept the payment, which takes 2 days (PayPal to verify my account). I only found info on setting the price after I had already created the listing. It would have been better to have had the guidance upfront and embedded in the setup process. sellerHi, it was good except for we had troubles doing payment over stillwhite it wouldn't work so we had to do it through PayPal externally and I was really upset when I lost $75 on the currency fee exchange from what Raemie paid and that was never made clear would be the case so I was disappointed that that wasn't clearer. I had reduced the dress by $50 to help Raemie with postage and then that brought it down more so wasn't heaps happy I didn't realise about that before. Thanks, TessMore

After my wedding I placed my dress on Still White because it was just too beautiful and valuable to deteriorate in a box full of tissue paper within another box for who knows how long! Although I also advertised my dress on a few re-sale sites, I found that Still White was where I received most enquiries. Still White is by far the best site in my opinion for a few reasons being that site itself is very user-friendly as both a buyer and a seller, it’s clear and easy to navigate and everything is displayed well! The site helps you optimise your advertisement by reviewing the details and images you post and it gives you options you to “bump up” your advert. My advert was online for a year. If you have a wedding dress that holds value its worth spending the money on the advert and giving it another life. That concept made it worth the wait to find the right buyer.MoreSarah, Sydney

buyerLoved It!! I looked through thousands of dresses, there were many beautiful and a range of affordable options. I purchased the first dress i tried on EVER. I instantly fell inlove with it. I viewed it many times on your site and just kept comming back to the same dress. I loved how easy it was to connect with the buyer and loved how true the dress was to the advertisement. I only had 5months to find a dress and i found it within weeks of scrolling through your site. Thankyou Stillwhite for creating such an amazing outlet for brides to be. sellerA good concept but the terms and conditions mean that as a seller, you pay an extortionate amount of PayPal fees (not StillWhites fault but it’s the only payment mechanism they recommend). I ended up with about 10% less than the actual sale price after everything.MoreChristy, Sydney
