Maggie Sottero Wedding Dress, Spring 2012. A modern rendition of the traditional ball gown, this layered hankie-cut tulle skirt is light and airy, creating dramatic contrast to the fitted ruched bodice. Adorned with Swarovski crystal belt featuring hand sewn floral embellishment, the gown is finished with a corset back closure.
Worn only once, the dress has been dry cleaned at a wedding dress specialist and is stored on a hanger until sold.
Alterations include:
- Altered the height (I am 165 cms and wore low heels). However I wore the largest hoop available that the dress is still quite long. Various size hoops are available that would help adjust the dress to your height.
- Added two cords underneath the dress so the train could be lifted and folded in. Its very easy to use and I used this for the entire reception. This doesn't affect the look of the layered material but means you can dance without any spills.
