This is a Peony dress by Monique Lhuillier in ivory silk jacquard, strapless sweetheart neckline, draped bodice gown with hand bustled trumpet skirt.
The gown is reminiscent of the peony flower's delicate layers and the soft curve of its petals. The ruching on the bodice mimics the undulating layers of petals circling towards the centre of the flower, and the hand-tufted skirt with full bottom impersonates the blossom in full bloom.
Peony is made of a delicate silk jacquard fabric that makes the gown very light and therefore easy to wear, which is great for dancing. The classic style of the dress is very flattering on a small figure and it will look timeless in photos for years to come.
