Kate Halfpenny, Daffodil corset/Maribou feather and sequin skirt

Beautiful Halfpenny London dress made in their London workshop. The dress comes in three pieces and is a really unique combination which provided real luxurious depth and interest in person and pictures given all the different materials and finishes. It might sound like it was very fussy but really wasn't! I'm generally quite vanilla in my style and didn't find any of the pieces hard to wear and felt completely myself and at ease in the dress on the day.

My wedding was in late December so the feather and (discreet!) sequin overlay was perfect for a winter wedding. Details of each piece below:

Part 1:
The Maribou feather and sequin skirt - this was an overlay worn over the skirt

Part 2:
The Ava under skirt - this was a satin skirt, I kept the train on the skirt

Part 3:
The matte Daffodil corset - this is a crepe like really luxurious material, very stretchy and is so flattering on

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned by Bentley Garment Cleaners who Halfpenny use to clean their dresses and it has come out perfectly and will come with a presentation box.

I wear a UK12/14 usually but am a bit smaller up top so the corset would fit a slim 14 or size 12 easily. It's very stretchy so I think it would fit a few different sizes without alteration and the skirts would be easily alterable to someone of a smaller or slightly different size.
