The Dress

I purchased this beautiful "Spring" dress from Hobnob Bridal in Perth in 2019 for my wedding in April and it was a dream! The fabric is Tulle and Lace and the underlay is a nude colour which worked really nicely with my tan and the Ivory tulle.

This dress was incredibly comfortable to wear all day long and I felt easily able to hug people and dance all night long.

I bought a size 10 but consider my bust and waist a size 8 while my hips and legs are a size 12. I'm 176cm tall and wore heels that were approx 5cm.

I've had the dress dry-cleaned and there are no marks or damage.

Alterations

I had alterations to the neckline to change the shape from a sweet heart bust to a V neck shape and also removed fabric from the back to make the V shape deeper and create a more backless shape. In addition, the seamstress loosened the inside layer of the skirt to allow a more comfortable fit for my size 12 hips and thighs. This could be taken in further but it can't be loosened more than it has.

I had the original bust cups changed to a better fitting shape. This can easily be changed to suit your body.
