The Dress

This stunning dress features a sweet scalloped and floral-pattern lace overlaying solid fabric in a similar color but with a faint blush that makes the lace "pop". The sweetheart neckline has beautiful eye-lash lace, a detail mirrored at the bottom hem. Boning in the bodice provides support; overall the dress is not 'heavy' when walking, dancing, etc. The bra-area has molded cups with underwire for a nice amount of support (easily supported a double D cup) with no need to wear a pesky strapless bra.

The back drops away to a 'just lace' portion that is stylish without being overly revealing. Rows of buttons give additional interest in the back (but don't worry, three-quarters of the 'buttons' are controlled by a zipper!). There is a bustle feature available so you can dance away at your reception. There is light "underskirt" of tulle that helps fill out the "flare"portion at the bottom. Slight train. Extra bonus; you can the restroom without any additional help ;)

I spent the extra money to order this dress as a "tall" and fit me perfectly in ballet flats at 6 feet tall. Easily altered to be shorter, but all my 'tall' brides know the difficulties of finding a used dress that reaches your feet. The bridal store 'demoed' this dress with an embellished belt and it looked great!

I have not dry-cleaned this dress, there is dirt on the hem, particularly the inside lining as it is a floor-length gown. I am happy to dry-cleaning for you before sending, but did not want to incur that expense until I knew if the dress generated interest (or I can take a few dollars off the price if you want to have it cleaned yourself). There are no food or other stains other than the dust on the hem. As a polyester dress, I do not anticipate cleaning to be a problem.

Ordered large to accommodate larger bust (34 DD) and hips- this dress has been taken in at the waist to 32 inches.
