This dress was custom made in Melbourne, Australia in late 2019 by Andrea Gorrea.
The dress is chic, elegant and glamorous - on the day, many guests described it as “royal, with a modern twist”. Made using the highest quality silk zibbeline and lined with silk satin, it features a fully boned corset to give bust support as well as a structured and small waist, a modest v-back and fabric buttons to just below the bottom, and a 1.8m full a-line skirt and train with crinoline sewn into the end seams (for maximum impact at the ceremony and in photos). The dress is a showstopper!
The front split extends to just above the knee (on me) but was designed in a way that it can be sewn up, partially or completely, if desired. The skirt also bustles up easily and neatly.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready to go to its new home.
