Leah Da Gloria, Custom Made

This custom made Leah Da Gloria couture gown was 8 months in the making and was worn on my wedding day in March (2020).
The intricate details of this couture gown are second to none and it was all beautifully handcrafted in the Leah Da Gloria Couture studio in Sydney. This gown is both classically elegant yet modern, combining a mixture of different sized pearls, beading, tulle, lace and silk. The silk underlay is a latte colour and the lace overlay is white. The strapless sweetheart neckline has a deep plunge bodice that is fully boned to maintain structure and compliment your figure and the cups are padded so no bra/undergarments required. The gown has a hidden zip closure (instead of individual buttons) which meant I got to spend more time on the dance floor. The silhouette has the signature Leah fit; like a glove, until it flares out into the long dramatic train. As embellished as it is, the dress was super comfortable to wear and easy to walk in thanks to the centre split and the 2 bustle options; the finger bustle to elegantly hold the train or loop bustle so that later in the evening you can bring in the train and move freely.

My stats and measurements:
* Australian size 8 US 4 (if it helps: when Leah measured me in calico I was her standard Aus size 8 and she just had to bring it in slightly).
* My measurements are above- taken 2.5 months post wedding so maybe take off a couple cm's to be safe.
* 161cm in height. I wore 10.5cm heels on the day bringing me up to 171.5cm when wearing the dress.
* 10D bra size.
* weight: 50-51kg on the day
* short torso

The gown was in immaculate condition post wedding day (had a perfect 21 degree sunny Melbourne day). I've had it dry cleaned by Syndals Bridal Dry Cleaning. Dress comes with the signature velvet hanger and Leah Da Gloria dress bag and ribbon so you can feel just as excited opening it on your wedding day as I did. I've included the custom Leah Da Gloria two tier plain veil (rrp $600) as part of this listing which was worn for roughly 2 hours - during the ceremony and photos outside the church.
