BRAND NEW AND NEVER WORN!
Stunning plunge v-neck sequin long sleeve Eliza Jane Howell Carina dress. I think this dress has been discontinued so I was so pleased to have found it.

I purchased it in December 2019 at The Tailor’s Cat bridal store in Rose Crescent, Cambridge intended for my wedding summer 2021. Then Covid hit and we postponed, then had a baby and recently had another. So I’ve sadly come to the realisation and decision that I’m not destined to wear this dress for my wedding after having two babies in quick succession.

The dress was altered over several months at the Tailor’s Cat shop by an experienced dress maker who worked for Jenny Packham. She even sewed a tiny blue ribbon into the bottom of the dress. It was then professionally dry cleaned.

I am a size 8-10 and she altered the dress knowing that I hoped to lose some weight before the wedding - so she left room for the dress to be either taken out or in.

I felt so special wearing this dress in the shop and couldn’t wait to see the sunlight bounce off the sequins and be captured in my photos.
As it is heavily sequinned and beaded it does have some weight to it but not as much as you’d think. I planned to wear it in the height of summer and wasn’t worried about being too hot.
