The Dress

A simply stunning gown! The material and cut are such a beautiful quality that the dress doesn't need anything else. I felt so beautiful in this dress and I'd love for someone else to feel that amazing on their day.

I had this gown dry cleaned by a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists. It's in excellent condition with some small areas on the hemline with marks. I have close up photos of the hemline and more dress photos to send if you are interested.

I bought this gown new from Davie & Chiyo for $2,000 (incl. tax). Alterations adding buttons to bustle underneath the gown were ~$300.

Alterations

Professional Customisations:
A wedding dress seamstress added 20 buttons into the train so that I didn't need to trim it and I was able to bustle the train underneath the gown. This allows the gown to keep its flattering shape and the lovely train. I've got a short video to help with the bustling, but it's a simple system.

I'm a size 4 Canadian and a size 8 - 10 Australian. We took it in 2 cm at the waist, shortened the straps a little to lift the waist to my waist height. The straps have 3 length settings (using small eyelets) so can be adjusted to fit you. I also had the bodice taken in to fit more snugly. It fits between a Canadian size 2 and 4.
