This dress was made for me in 1997 by a bridal designer who had made for the royal family. It is all made of Duchesse Satin with a little georgette softening the shoulders. It has pearl and diamonds handstitched patterns of fleur de lis on the bodice and end of train plus initials. The bodice is boned with buttons down the back and matching buttons of the sleeves which end in a slight point. The skirt has 2 petticoats with lots of layers of tulle for fullness. This has been professionally packed away in a bridal box with acid free tissue paper. There is a lot of material in this dress which could be used to completely alter the style. This cost nearly £4,000.
