The Dress

This is a custom, made to order, Violetta Lace Wedding dress from Dreamers and Lovers. It has off white lining, and off white lace. It has never been worn outside of trying it on! It is in perfect, brand new condition! Can safely fit up to 5'6 total.

Here are the details from the designer:
- Handmade in our California studio by our small friendly team
- Choices: Your seamstress will create Violetta to your measurements, or choose standard sizing
- Diamond-shaped open back
- Artfully placed panels
- Crafted from a one-of-a-kind cotton lace on a nylon base
- Stretch silky poly charmeuse liner
- Available liner colors: ivory, nude, off-white, and vanilla (I chose off white)
- Sewn-in bra cups and ‘boob’ support (no bra needed)
- Fully lined
- Fitted sleeves unlined
- Back zip + hook closure
- Body-skimming fit without being restricted
- The train comes with bustle option + finger loop

There are 2 differences between mine and the one on the website since they are made to order:
1. Mine has "off white lining" the one on the website is shown in "vanilla"
2. I removed the detailing that lines the neckline and sleeves because it didn't match my style. If you want the detailing added back on, I can request the designer add it back for an additional fee.

Also, I ended up losing a ton of weight before the wedding and couldn't get this dress re-altered in time. That's the only reason I never wore it.

Alterations

The dress is a size 8, was altered to a size 6. Also, I am 5'3 flat-footed, and wore 3-inch heels. I wear a 32 DD in bras and the top was made to fit that. I would say even though it is listed as a 6 it fits closer to a large 4.
