When I first saw this gown, I knew that one day I would get married in this masterpiece. It took me a while to hunt this one of a kind dress down and I couldn’t wait to spend the most important day of my life in it.

Then 2020 came and all our plans changed.

With both families living overseas, we made the heartbreaking decision to elope in December 2020 and I ended up wearing a different dress for this occasion. To date we are unsure, if we can ever have the big celebration of our dreams. I have thought many times about holding onto it but I don’t see the point of having it hang in our wardrobe for (potentially) years when there may be another beautiful bride out there that can enjoy it.

The dress had a previous owner but it is in perfect condition.
I got it slightly altered by a profession wedding gown designer and the entire team was amazed by its condition. It was previously professional dry cleaned and shows absolutely no signs of damage or wear and tear.

Even though this is a bittersweet sale, I really hope this dress will finally find a new owner, who will wear it with pride.
