Carolina Herrera has created wedding dresses for everyone from Caroline Kennedy to Olivia Palermo - her designs are just so timeless. This off-the-shoulder dress is made from silk-piqué with a bow-embellished neckline and draped skirt. It's cinched at the waist, while the boned bodice and internal bra will support you through all the festivities.

The dress is from Carolina Herrera's Spring 2019 Bridal line, and is brand new with tags, with zero alterations. I was planning to wear this for our mini-mony later this year, but sadly it does not fit me and can't be returned/exchanged!

The dress measures approximately 32" from the waist seam to the front hemline. The dress is fitted through the bust and waist, and less fitted through the hips. The waist measures about 28" and the hips about 39" (measurements are approximations taken while the garment was laid flat), but I had a hard time getting an accurate bust measurement. My own bust measurement (NOT the bra band size, but measured around the body at the fullest point of the bust) is around 37.5-38" and the top of the dress was about 4" away from zipping. So I would guess that unaltered, this dress would best accommodate a bride with a maximum 34" bust measurement. The tag lists the color as "white" but it is not a bright white, and closer to a cream/ivory, as you would usually expect in 100% silk.

Please note that none of the modeled photos uploaded are of me; the photo with the bouquet is of Eleonore von Habsburg wearing the dress at her civil ceremony. (Yes, as in House of Habsburg - this dress is literally fit for royalty!) As you can see, she hemmed the dress a bit so that hers was slightly below the knee rather than midi length.
