The Dress

Beautiful Ivory wedding dress bought at Strutt Bridal in Hobart in Jan 2021. Worn once for my wedding in March 2021

V neck front and back, straps sit a little wider than typical which results in a beautiful flattering cut.
Nude meshing between the bust and under the arms (as shown in photo). Bra cups in dress so no need to wear bra/stick ons. Zipper on the back, buttons all the way down however they don’t actually button up, they go along the zip line and continue further down the dress then the zip does.

AU12 when bought, alterations- bra cups moved to against the skin so you don’t see the edges of the cups, hem taken up, taken in under bust, train shortened, pockets removed. All alterations done by a professional dress maker. Photos 3 and 4 are prior to alterations being made, dress is pinned. I am approx 164cm tall and wore heels that were 5.5cm. Train can be buttoned up so dress converts to even length for reception/post ceremony.

I am normally a AU 12. This dress would fit a AU 10-12 or if you’re smaller, some alterations could be done so it fits perfectly. Flattering style, firm over bodice, A-line skirt that falls beautifully over the hips/bottom.

Dry cleaned at Status Dry Cleaning. All marks have been removed. Marks on the bottom of the dress as shown in first photo were from the wet ground (we had a garden wedding and it rained the night before) but have all come out!!
