Alterations

Alterations include
• joining up dress split up the leg to create a seamless look
• shortening the hem to sit flush with the shoes I was wearing on the day (4cm heels)
• Trimming the train to a beautiful scalloped shape to match veil
• bringing the dress in a size (I’m normally a 14, but the material was quite stretchy, so we bought in to be a size 12 and it was a snug fit)
• adding a clip for the shoulder sleeve to be secured to so it didn’t fall down all day and for it to sit horizontally not riding up my shoulder
• adding a ribbon for my train to bustled to
• boning in the side of the dress so give the fitted/hourglass more define - this also helped keep the dress up and secure all day/night
