The Dress

This is a designer dress from Claire Pettibone - the Beverly gown from her Romantique collection. This is a unique and very beautiful dress comprised of ivory floral lace with an ivory lining to the bustline, creating an illusion neckline detail. It has a cut out open back and chapel length train. It is so flattering, just skimming the hips, with a slightly-dropped waist eyelash detail and the same eyelash detailing at the wrists and neck. It is slightly fitted, more of a draping effect rather than completely tight, with the result that the dress was really comfortable to wear and especially to dance in! The train can be lifted up and fastened with a hidden covered button. I felt so glamorous and elegant in this dress and I loved the bohemian styling, which adds to the timeless nature of the dress. Our wedding was on a very sunny day in August 2019. I have had the dress specialist dry cleaned and there is no damage at all - it is like new. Alterations

Dress adjusted at the top and sleeves to create a better fit and the length was taken up slightly. I am 5 ft 6 in height and wore a low heeled shoe on the day - the dress is floor length This is a US size 10 but it is adjusted to fit - my usual dress size is size 10 - this dress would fit UK dress size 8-10
