Lisa Ho

Gorgeous Lisa Ho Strapless Chiffon Gown. Purchased from Lisa Ho Chadstone store in summer 2009 for our February 2010 wedding. This dress was not in the Lisa Ho catalogue, nor was it pictured on the Lisa Ho website - I scoured the internet for a photo of it to show my friends prior to purchasing but could not find one photo! I was also told there was not many made, so I think it is a rare Lisa Ho dress which appealed to me! They ordered in the last size 6 in the country for me. The beautiful feature of this dress is the bodice, which I think is made of silk taffeta layers (but I cannot be sure if that is the actual fabric name!). This detail of the dress made me fall in love with the dress. It is such an interesting detail, yet still relaxed & elegant.

I loved this dress as my wedding dress - it was so comfortable, and had a relaxed feel about it, but I still felt so elegant! We had a very relaxed country garden wedding so it suited it well, but I think this gown could be suited to various wedding styles.

I bought it as a size 6 and had some alterations made to the length only. My dressmaker also gave it a very subtle curve at the back, which looked good in the photos. I believe it is a true size 6 if I compare to other brands. The dress was professionally dry cleaned the week after the wedding, and has since been lovingly stored in the dry cleaning plastic slip inside a white dressmakers protector bag.

Measurements laid flat:
Bust: 33cm (measured inside of bodice)
Length: 136cm (from top of bust to hem)

I am approx 150cm tall & I wore the dress with 11cm heels, and I thought the dress was a perfect length for me. Comes with a white protector bag with zip.
