The Dress

Brie, is a minimalist’s dream. The gown boasts a split in the skirt, but a stunning long-sleeve overlay bodice draped in delicate georgette finished off with long sleeve, luxe cuff and elegant hand-sewn covered buttons.

I purchased the beautiful "Brie" dress in February 2021 and wore it in March for my wedding. I had it altered by the Karen Willis Holmes team for $500.00. It is part of the current KWH season; https://karenwillisholmes.com/product/brie/

The dress is elegant and fit perfectly. The fabric is stretch-fit and is super comfortable ie; you can breathe/move/dance freely. The dress is size 10 however, I wear a size 8 normally. I am 169 cm tall and wore 5cm heels on the day.

I got married on that "1 in 100 year" day of rain here in Sydney. The bottom of the dress was unavoidably muddy. I took it to the dry cleaner the very next day where it was given a deep clean and came out looking very good considering. There are dirt marks on the very bottom of the dress which could not be removed. I can send photos to anyone interested. You could easily have the dress altered to remove the very bottom of the dress.

Alterations

Cuffs have been brought in so they were tighter.
Bust enhances added.
All alterations amounted to just over $700.00
