The Dress

I loved this dress from the moment we started designing it. The incredibly talented four time ABIA award winner, Alexis George, designed and made my wedding dress. George was amazing! Another word that springs to mind is ‘patient’. There was one thing that I was particularly fussy about for the whole wedding & that was the colour I wanted underneath the lace on my dress.

After Mum and I unsuccessfully searched every fabric store in Adelaide looking for the ‘perfect’ shade of grey/lilac, George ended up combining two colours & I could not have been happier! I wanted my dress to have something unique about it & he definitely delivered.

Generally, I am a size 8 and a 'C' cup but this dress was made to measure. I am 181cm and I wore a 3cm heel on my wedding day.

This couture gown is a beautiful cut, with a low back and has a beautifully detailed and scalloped train which can be bustled at the back. The edges along the sweetheart neckline and low v back also have scalloped edges. This dress has boning in the bustier and fits like a glove. Most importantly, It was so easy to move in on my wedding day and I felt amazing wearing it!

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in perfect condition.
