The Dress
Oleg Cassini ivory, strapless organza ball gown with gold beaded embroidery, lace up back and full train. Size 8. Purchased 2005, professionally cleaned and preserved immediately after the wedding. It has since been stored in a climate controlled office, with no animals or smoking on premises. There was no damage or known stains when the dress was sent for cleaning, and it has not been out of the box.
I was a true size 8 at the time it was worn, and it is listed as a size 8. No alterations were made, other than a small hem. I no longer have the same measurements, unfortunately, so those are not included. The corset back does give a bit of room for movement on size. I didn’t want the ‘tails’ of the corset tie to show, but those easily tucked in and were barely visible. It was worn for an indoor wedding and reception, with a few pictures taken outside. Sheets were used to prevent the hem from getting dirtied while outside. I hope whoever ends up with this gown feels absolutely stunning on your wedding day❤️
