The Dress

Sweet and romantic, this mermaid gown features comfortable stretch lace with a deep sweetheart neckline and stunning all-over lace appliques. An invisible back zipper closure completes the gown.

• Size 8 (hemmed / Petite)
• Color: Ivory/Ivory/Ivory White
• Fabric is lace & tulle
• Retails for approximately $2500 USD
• Dress was altered length wise, slight alterations to cups, and added a bustle—otherwise no changes to the bust, waist, hips, or anywhere else.
• For reference, I am 5'1 in height and wore 3.5" heels with the dress. My weight fluctuated anywhere from 127-133 from time of fitting to wedding and it fitted in all the fluctuations. It was obviously more snug on the higher range but the dress does have some slight stretch so i was always able to zip.
• Seamstress tightened the cup area maybe a quarter or half inch. Specifically the cup area NOT the entire bust. The length was altered to fit 5'1 with 3.5" shoes.
• Dress arrived in July 2021 and was worn for wedding in November 2021
• Dress is in very good condition but will need to be dry cleaned. Generally speaking, this was worn in cold temperatures so there was zero to minimal perspiration, wore a jacket on top of it when outside and not taking photos, changed out of the dress half way through reception.
• There are no stains on the dress except at the bottom of the hem (which is expected) from walking around in city streets, some grass, and otherwise indoors.
• Please note there is a slight tear at the bottom of the dress on the top layer (see photo for reference). We were taking a photo while walking and bridesmaid stepped on it causing a small tear. it should be possible to stitch it up.
• Strings on side of dress to hang have been cut off
• Dress has some stretch and is light and comfortable for a dress that has lace and tulle
• Bustle on dress is three buttons on the back (easy to bustle)

Alterations
