The dress itself is very comfortable. There is a weight to the dress which makes it feel very luxurious and the neckline is very flattering. It also has deep pockets which would easily fit lipstick, tissues etc that you would need on the day. It has a zip back which is concealed with buttons which are fastened using loops. The buttons go all the way from the top to the bottom of the train which is a unique feature of this dress.

It is brand new as my wedding was a casualty of Covid. By the time lockdown eased I was pregnant so we just had a small registry office wedding and I wore a different dress. It has only been tried on once for the alterations. I also have a hoop skirt and veil that I would be happy to send with the dress.

I was told when I purchased that the material was mikado.

The dress has been slightly tapered in from roughly bottom rib up to bust, about 2-3cm on each side at bust height and tapered down
A bustle has been added to allow it to be pinned up for night time
A belt was also added to the waist which adds a bit of subtle sparkle
The length is unaltered
