Casablanca Hallie (BL335) purchased at Marie Gabriel Couture in Indianapolis, IN in Oct 2021 for my June 2022 wedding; however, I learned that I am expecting my first child earlier this year, so the dress will no longer work for me. Because I learned of my pregnancy prior to picking up my dress, it remains PRISTINE, UNALTERED, AND UNWORN! Will include dress bag from MGC as well.

The dress is beautiful in its fabrication. The Mikado silk gives it structure without it feeling heavy. The boning in the corseted top creates a fantastic and slimming silhouette. The back dips slightly, and there is a knee-high slit in the front, so you still feel sexy. The ballgown style gives way to a long train that can be altered to suit your needs.

My dress inspiration was Whitney Port (from The Hills!). My plan was to work with the slit and create a high-low hemline, keeping most of the length of the train.

I have a wide rib cage, so I had to size up. I typically wear a US 4-6, and the top and waist in the dress size 18 needed take in. The dress sits at the natural waist and (at 14 week pregnant) was also a little big on me. I'm 5'/1" without shoes, so it was also quite long, which means the length would still be great on someone much taller.
