Ivory ballgown by Oscar de la Renta with gorgeous floral lace bodice, sheer cap sleeves with couture floral 3D beading, and silk taffeta skirt. The bodice is a beautiful uncut floral lace layer over two fitted layers: the fitted silk, and an inbuilt boned corset within. It's comfortable to wear and has invisible pockets in the skirt. The sheer capped sleeves have exquisite 3D floral beading, making this gown a perfect mix of contemporary and classic elements. Looks great with a sash or no sash- I tried both. Photos of this gown on the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2016 bridal runway are online. The Oscar tag and tiny blue ribbon inside the corset are there. Thoroughly cleaned and pressed by LA experts but there are a few tiny stains on the right side near the hem, which are featured in the video. Will ship in preservation box.

Alterations

This dress was originally a size 10, and I had it tailored to but 33.5", waist 26.5”, so it's more like a bridal size 6 (street size 4)
I am 5',4.5" tall and wore 4" heels, and it's tailored to the floor, so about 5'8"
My tailor left an allowance so that it can be let out again a little
I also had the lace tacked lightly to the silk bodice so that it would be a little more fitted- this can be undone
And she added a touch more flounce in the petticoat for me
