Silk taffeta ivory gown, purchased new and worn once on a dry day. Strapless, slight sweetheart neckline, fold detail over the bust and hip, slight fishtail skirt which skims hip and loosely hugs the thighs. Small, manageable, but still swish-able, round train. Invisible zip at the back with single hook closure at the top, built-in boning. Very easy to step into, no to minimal assistance required (and great for wardrobe changes on the day).
Clean, simple, classic lines (no snags for clumsy girls!) but the folds and texture give it a modern twist.
