The Dress

This beautiful dress has a vintage feel, and helped make my day romantic and timeless. The design is classic, with lace and floral applique layered atop illusion mesh and tulle. The vintage-inspired appliques create a high mock neckline, while eyelash-trimmed scallops adorn the cap sleeves and A-line skirt, finished with a chapel train. There are white sequins sewn into the dress, so the dress sparkles subtly in the light.

It would suit a bride who is looking for something classic and a little vintage, who wants to feel beautiful, and make a statement without compromising on security and modesty. It was a dream to wear--I an a 38 G, and the mock neck and lace detailing made me feel bridal while held-in and not too exposed. It was comfortable, moved extremely well, and looked amazing in photos .

The layers of lace over tulle create a lovely effect where more details pop out the closer you look at the dress--in the video, you can hear my sister observe that it looks like a river: the movement the layers create are reminiscent of moving water.

CONDITION: The dress is in excellent used condition. Worn for a sit-down wedding with about 2 songs worth of dancing. No spray tan. There is some makeup residue on the inside of the mock-neck and there may be a stray leaf on the bottom of the skirt from our photo session. Kept in non-smoking household.

Alterations

I had some of the excess fabric taken off the skirt, so it hugged my figure a bit more and looked less full, and had a bustle put in. Besides that, there were no additional alterations. I'm 5 feet 9 inches tall, the dress was a perfect length with 8cm shoes.
