Suzanne Neville Amerie dress 2022.

This dress is Suzanne Neville's Amerie dress from the Flores collection. Amerie is perfect in its simplicity - the expertly fitted bodice sits below an elegant, slightly off the shoulder portrait neckline, finished with a romantic billowing skirt.

I bought it from Carina Baverstock Boutique for my wedding in July 2022

I am 5 foot 8 and a size 8-10. The bodice has an internal corset, which means it stays in place perfectly and I felt so comfortable throughout the day not having to worry about it slipping. This also gives a really flattering shape. It has a beautiful V-shaped back with delicate buttons and a full skirt but with lots of movement, making it perfect for dancing in.

It is being professionally dry-cleaned. There are some marks on the bottom of the dress from walking around, but as I am very tall 5ft 11 with heels, that anyone shorter can have the dress taken up which would eradicate the marks

I also had a button sewn in so you can bring the train up off the floor for dancing.

I decided to customise the look of my dress by wearing a silk ribbon on the day too, it is sewn onto the front of the dress and you tie a bow at the back, but it would easily be removed.

I absolutely the dress, it has a corset to give you the perfect shape, I was not worried about eating too much as I knew I would be held in place. It is truly a beautiful dress.
