This is a one-of-a-kind Allure created for a wedding dress design competition and worn once by the model, and once by me on my wedding day. It was too expensive to mass produce so it's the only one that exists! It's inspired by ballerinas (hence the name "Moscow") and I felt like a ballerina princess while wearing it. The bodice is created from folded tulle and has beautiful arches above the skirt, like a ballerina tutu would. The back is zippered with buttons overlaying the zipper (easy to button - nails are no problem), it's easy to get in and out of, and it requires no bustling. Although it's a ballgown, it's light and it was very easy to move in. I was married in May in Texas and the heat was no problem.
Everyone loved to see me spin in the dress and I received endless compliments! I absolutely loved wearing it and want someone else to have a wedding experience as magical and dreamy as me. It's in excellent condition - no wear or flaws that I can see, but since it has been worn twice now (by the model, and me) I hesitate to say it's perfect.
Condition
- Used - Minor flaws or wear
- Dry cleaned
- Tulle fabric
Alterations
- It had a train; I removed it
- It's a bridal 6 but I'm a 0/2 street so the bodice was taken in a bit
- The skirt was cut to fit my height - I'm 5'5" and wore flats - though it was a touch long the day of the wedding
- Elastic was added under the buttons in the back so they'd be straight instead of skewed
