The Dress

The dress, a costum made version based on the Style 1244, features a classic, structured A-line silhouette with a newly sweetheart neckline and trending off shoulder sleeves. A striking contrast of bold laces and tiny 3D florals add coverage to the slightly sheer bodice, while soft shimmer elements add a subtle glow. The organic laces scatter down the full skirt, as the 3D florals of chiffon and organza petals increase in size toward the large floral motifs along the hemline. A slighty lower back brings a simple yet timeless elegance to the design, while a subtle train completes the look with a light and airy finish. The dress has a zip back with covered buttons and a hand loop was added to the long train for dancing as a custom add on. I only wore it from our evening ceremony until our first dance and changed afterwards into a party dress, although the dress really was comfortable to walk, sit/eat and dance in.

Alterations

While the dress was ordered in a US size 4, it was altered a bit to make it slightly smaller around the waist. I would say it fits a EU 32-36/ US 0-4 depending on waist and bust size. (I am a US size 2 / EU 34, Bra Size 75C, 170 tall and wore 9cm heels)
